Sailor Moon : ((screams out as she crawls toward Sailor Mars)) Rei-chan! ....Rei-chan?!! Sailor Mars: U...Usagi... Sailor Moon: ((cradling mars in her arms)) Rei-chan.... Sailor Mars: You...you..are too sweet....to.. ((gasp)) to protect ....((gasping for breath) Sailor Moon: (tears welling in her eyes) Dont leave me Rei-chan...Rei-chan...Please..please dont die.... Sailor Mars  (tries her best to give a smile)) Usagi-chan..it will be ok...((Dissolves into Light resembling fireflies))Sailor Moon: ((screams out in deep sarrow and agony)) REI!!!!! i remember watching the final episodes and not be able to watch a minute of it with out reaching for a new kleenex. Its strange to say that a cartoon can move someone to tears...but i think i speak for most moonies when i say there is nothing more emotional then Sailor moon losingthose close to her. It was actually really hard to draw this with out sniffling. I know its kinda silly..but i couldnt help it. its one of those things that triggers your memory to think of all the things you have lost...and so I give to you: "death of mars" i dedicate this to  who is just as a moon fanatic as I, 22 and still moonies! |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. Yeah sailor Moon was my first love. I discovered her back in 1992 when my i think it was 2nd grade teacher had just comeback from japan. She gave out little prizes and pencils for good marks on test and i always got sailor moon stickers and pencils. I always thought it was so cool.. then 4-5 years later i actually saw the cartoon on us television. and then it clicked.. i remember jumping up from the couch and screaming ..."OH MY GOD!! ITS THE GIRL FROM MY PENCILS!!! OH MY GOD!!!" of course my mother thought i had stabed my self or did some bodly harm as i go clopping up the stairs to my pencil case and pulled out the very worn but still in tack pencil and waved it high in the air chanting.. "This is soooo cool!! "
yeah i am a nerd.. then my obsession sprong forth like a crazy crazy whirl wind.. I shit you not up untill 2002 i have collected a sailor moon collection that it priced at 10,000.00. Thats money i have spend on buying, important, and just collecting. I could have paid off my college tutition bills for all 5 years i am there. ...now its moved to more of a graphic novel obsession.

Ah, I remember my first Sailor Moon memory... One day, I came home from school and caught the end of an episode on cartoon network. For whatever reason, I was intrigued, but I didn't have any idea what was going on whenever I saw it lol. After a while, I started to catch the episodes from the beginning, and then I got hooked on Mars... it didn't take long before I got hooked on the show
From there, it lead me to the manga, and then the subtitled version, and now PGSM... the love will never die
